これで終わりだ!!

yea, it isn't good to hold this up any longer. procrastinating on this is pretty much adds up to what i had been procrastinated with my school stuff haha ^^;;;

anyway, to look at it, a GB is bound to have people not making to the deadline and i am thoroughly awared with that. nonetheless, to have participants that managed to pull through and get their zeydra done nice and shine :D and i hereby thank you all for participating, and who knows if i am to organize more of these in future xD and thus, may i congratulate to all four completers (?) that gloriously completed their Zeydra, the honor is all yours to BD77, CD, Zeon Two Six and Jack Chua. you folks have interesting takes on your own Zeydra and within my no-gunpla period, it is truly enjoyable to observe and follow those WIPs and view the results

and for the bonus part, the Hyper Zeydra Kick contest. the previous Hyper Sinanju kick had its winner through the democracy of voting (lulz) but for Zeydra's, i decided to decide it by my own...if you choose to put your faith on my randomness... ^^;;;;

anyway, without further ado, may i present you what i thought as the best Zeydra kick!

yeaaaaaaaa. i kinda think that the whole is agreeing for this. i broke into absurd laughter till i hurt my sides badly, so yeaa, with such gratuitous amount of lulz, Jack Chua received my award for Hyper Zeydra Kick and thus receiving a HGUC Unicron Destroy Pearl edition, courtesy of Tsukinari Mugetsu of To Aru Shumi no Tsukinari . congratulations again to the best kick and also to everyone joining this group build. and thus, with due respect, this GB officially ends.

HG Zeydra Group Build! Unveil the power of the RED!!

ZOIDIECT'S BASE BRINGS YOU HG ZEYDRA GROUP BUILD PLUS HYPER ZEYDRA KICK CONTEST!!

following our somewhat successful HGUC Sinanju GB, i am again in awe of that awesome kick Zeydra delivered in Episode 20 of Gundam AGE. somewhat related to Sinanju (red MS, 3 times faster, kick etc etc)

Now, how will it rolls?

-Preparation time! i'll set up a time range to gather up people for this GB, once we got enough people, we'll commence up the build
-Entries! Only HG Zeydra AND ONLY FOR BLOGGERS. like our Sinanju GB, things will be totally managed via blogs, links from your blogs will be compiled here and such
-DATELINE! I'll have around 2 months for participants to complete up their Zeydras. and here, if cannot make it in time is okay, but you'll lose the chance to get yourself into the contest

later i'll add more stuff

and so, what should i do with the Zeydra?
-ANYTHING
- straight build repaints mod scratch build blablabla anything is accepted! we are here to enjoy building Zeydra AND to encourage blogging as well. so you get my idea there ;D
-but one thing though, try to finish up in time XD

and that's that. this is merely an introductory post, so lemme know what you think on this and also stuff to add in and such.

oh and btw, i will be solely organizing it. due to some reason i wont be joining and build one. so yea

RGM-96X Jesta- Concept Plan 2

those aren't Tron glow bands. those are NT-D glow, before the armors segregate and reveal the Psycho Frame. Yes, aside from the custom color, i will also implement NT-D into this beast. and yeap, all will be lighted up. by rough estimation, might need like 6 LEDs. this is going to be fun, stuffing all the wiring and stuff to a 1/144 kit, 6 LEDs somemore. and btw, the psycho frame are to be built using clear pla plates. got that coming right now.

i just marked any places possible for inserting psycho frame but i suppose all be different when i got the kit in hand.

snap-fitted. among all monoeyes, this is one that i like. well proportioned, great stance (it's Katoki's design, nuff said). i dont really like monoeyes mainly because of their nonsense proportions, except Bawoo, as i found the proportion looks kinda nice.

and this blog is 2 years old. and i had no idea what to say in this post ^^;;;

aaaaaaaaaand more importantly, Sinanju GB is now officially ends, with Zeon_Two_Six delivers his kick within the last seconds XD sort of

I'll bring up the Kick post soon, and we shall move one with the judging.

blog is 2 years old, my modelling skills is like 1 1/2 years worth, and blog stats from May last year give me around 29,865 viewers, which i think the number is greater if the stats started from April 2009.

more stuff to come, including HGUC Sinanju, MC Model Hi-Nu, as well as finishing up some of my work logs. i might buy something to reward myself for completing IELTS test (yes, i love to reward myself, that's why i keep buying new kits whenever i completed one ^^;;;)

and now, a very great thanks to all viewers, readers, lurkers, blogrollers or aliens, who had gave support to put this blogs on a steady life.

as for now, top three of my referrals comes from BD77, Chubbybots and also Tsukinari =D

i'll be adding up more contents to this blog, maybe a commission page, i guess, or whatever the thing is

first, why didn't it come to me to propose this GB?
- what happen is that Bandai gave us this beautiful masterpiece, so that almost everyone is getting this kit, at the SAME time!
-taking that this is a beautifully engineered kit, lets have a wonderful time together, enjoying this one piece of kit ^^

-since the aim is to admire this one-hell-of-a kit, then WIPs for this kit is very welcomed!

just a quickie, something to announce for Kickathon

FYI, the GB is actually separated into 2 parts, the GB itself and the kickathon, which is GB participants are directly eligible for it while it is also opens for others, just submit a kick. for example, Divinelight's Sinanju stomp can fight also ^^

for some particular reason, i think the GB will be dragged until March, so i decided to change the prize for the Kickathon

now that we ALL are getting and gotten the Sinanju, what about a little Group Build, as a respect to this beautifully made kit, in which the MG version is out of our league and they gave us the HGUC version so that we can have this masterpiece at home?

what I'm planned for this GB is that

we'll just do OOB, painting can be done also (I'll just go OOB with my Sinanju XD)

and lets make sequences of WIPs, so that we can see your thoughts on the parts separately.

HGUC RX-78-2 Custom

time to put up the Gallery for my RX-78-2 Custom for the Groupbuild =D


i bet that you guys didn't expect it to be BLACK XD

HGUC RX-78-2 Custom WIP 5

Almost done~!

being an OOB kit doesnt require lots of mod work and for the add-on i choose to go on simple on them ;)

painted the cannon with flat black (accidentally used flash for the pic but seems to be okay) i didnt give lots of detailing work/sanding since this part is made of non-compact plastic so sanding it will make it even worse -_-

just making it simple~ take it easy okay~ also had painted the screw's head gold to make the mechanical feels to stand out more ^^the tip is the original color of the metal

also got a clear piece from a clear runner and painted it with permanent green marker to get clear green effect~ thats the sensor/scope~

looks better now~ gotta love that sensor fin~ it makes it look juuuuuuuuust better~!!

however, since the cannon is mostly filled up with putty, so it gained some weight...now in un-deployed mode, it experiencing some back heavy....but i like the deployed version more...more cool lolz~

going more on granddaddy~

as im using the saber's mount for the cannon, so had to relocate one of the hilts and i choose to put it at the back of the shield...made some slots at the peg and slots

there, how the saber is mounted...note the direction of the saber? hehehehe

NOW THATS WHAT I CALL AS CHEATING~ err...better say extra hidden weapon lolz~

change of plan on the cannon..i had ditch the ballpen and use this anonymous plastic (my lil bro toys i think) since i found it to be more nice looking~

changed the arm from the previous pic into this one..making it to have the look of simplicity~and the attachment is secured by screw~like it~

added some more pieces and a metal piece from some old electronic board and...

hohoho~ cannon no more~ now i have BEAM CANNON~!!!
and next is~ (no more biohazard, and i found playing putty is fun now lolz ^^;;;)

filled the large hollow gaps with putty and suprisingly, it tends to harden really fast..which make my work faster~!

and, this pic is taken less than 20 minutes after applying the putty...fast isnt it?

and the putty job this time kinda perfect~(might play with it some more and make attempt on patchy lololololol)

and finally

covered it with Tamiya's basic putty to cover up small gaps =D

thats all...not really much progress =D

HGUC RX-78-2 Custom WIP 3

RED

more updates~
note : the first 4 pictures are taken using Nikon coolpix 5700 which i dont know on how to adjust the setting making me to snapped some pictures with weird discoloration -__-

okay among the part that i had painted..the bazooka got kinda good layer of white paint while the shield....i'll explain after this...

the red on the shield turned out to be glossy/shiny and compared it with the original red plastic....actually when painting it i made a dumb mistake which is i painted red first.....the best is to use white first..but what i did are= first 2 coat=red, white coat then finishing red coat....4 coats.....that make the paint to be too thick until it become glossy...plus the details on the shield kinda almost 'depleted'

however, the red pigment of the paint turned out to be something fun~

first i thought that i'll make a red beam stick..so i just give one thin lazy coat of red and guess what?i got pink~! actually it almost red but then i give it some wet sanding and got pink~ like it~

comparing the pink with the shield..but the lighting may give different effects it seems ^^;;

different from the white spray, the red seems to be something fun~!

so..

i decide to paint the feet, head crest and the chin~

since its already red, so i gave only a light coat of red to prevent it from being glossy and what i got? gritty surface~! yaaiiyy~no need to use basic putty+ thinner + brush stroke technique~

the red crest and the chin turned out to be nice with a bit gritty~ the only reason why i repaint the red is that for RX-78 G30, the color scheme seems to be lighter so i want a darker red (but didnt paint the lower torso also since i want it to be balanced with the light blue of upper torso =D)

and yes, one bonus stuff ^^

that open palm is from my TTHL Exia TA and i changed the angle of the fingers (and yes, i mod this palm after making the katana)
why after making the katana? since this palm is included in my may-be-neglected musha project...

still didnt get it?

there you go. i mod the finger so that it can hold a scabbard (in this case proto-scabbard) and yeah, do note that i wont use the katana for RX-78 ^^

so for the overall look so far..

the cannon still looking bare and need more detailing...notice how glossy the shield? too reflective lol

just randomly shot this pose...since i 'played' with it too much so some painted parts (gold and silver) need re-touch up (maybe before topcoating ^^)
