okay, lets re-organize things up..

just that I'm not going directly on what I'm actually planning for my next two post, in which both posts will be something that is i didn't ever did here, so I'm just going to re-organize my plans until 2010 ends. Yet, most things i think will only be executable starting from mid-november..

well, lets start it.

how funny most of my wish lists are getting fulfilled, this year.Taking that I'm making a long term investment, so i take it as "okay". and so, for my Gunpla list, there are only three kits that i want, which is HGUC Sinanju, RG RX-78-2 and MG OOQ.

hmm, maybe Sinanju and RG will end up as backlogs for a while XD one and half a month, how many work logs i'll be able to complete?

Sonsaku-aaaaaaaaalmost done i think, SB stuffs? only left the holster for the claws to be SB.and the sealing some more gaps and clean-up

KGale- time to let cat out off the bag..

now i think the so-called "PROJECTOFTHEYEARLOLWUT" isn't a really good idea. i started up Project KGale without enough skills, tools, and material. and i had to say that i got KGale- screwed up-

im not failing and im not giving up but it is just that im doing something far beyond i could afford when im on the mood for it and now im left with some mess i needed to clean
and when i checked it back during the break, the visor suddenly broke!? wth not my fault arrgghh

in other words, it's like "mistakes done by older generations and newer generations are left to be blamed"

maybe

hence, i will NOT be carrying out Project 剣 next year and will not carry it out until i approve myself to be able to carry it out. and no more project of the year thingy...time to go random next year and afterward


on some more stuff, i skipped HG OOQ so HGUC Sinanju is the next get. and that is kinda disturbing me right now. i planned to work on some gunplas at college after mid-semester break so i brought about some tools.

cutting mat, nippers, file, sand papers, pla plates, both of my cements, bondite epoxy putty, basic putty, scriber, MSGs, and whatnot.

well, some.

and Sinanju...if it's a early october release then around mid october it will be available here, i think. heck, that time I'm going to focus for finals >_< so lets say i brought tools almost for nothing ^^;;;;;;;;

well, mistakes sometimes, next time learn ^^

Hazardous Boredom.....

Being Boring is hazardous (to me)

before that, i had re-arrange my Plamo Display shelf in the morning.....since it looked pretty cramped so wanna make out some space ^^

do notice that the stacks of boxes are weird...some of them is missing in the picture since i'm dealing with something inside those boxes =D
made almost all Gunpla in standing pose so that can save more space

nothing done for the Zoids' shelf.....didnt mix them with Gunpla (or else there will be hunting campaign XD)

made this part for MGs and SDs...had to put FZA Saviour here also since it requires stand lolz

all my 1/144 kits are here...had made Kyrios into Flight mode as it cant stand well in MS mode...only give stand to OO and Gadessa since OO wanna make pose and Gadessa do need a stand~!

actually, what i got in my mind are two thing....first is Project KnightinGale and the second is RX-78 ver ZD

for Project KnightinGale, i only need to wait for DSSD Astray to reach me then i'll start on it..
the same also for RX-78 ver ZD (i'm planning to join RockleeLotus group build), only waits for my RX-78 G30 to arrive......

but then, i'm making some pre-planning for Project KnightinGale...well, for it i'm making a Basic KnightinGale with 3 packs, Blade,Cannon and Assault..

Blade and Cannon only need custom backpack and some armors while Assault needs Extra Armor for whole body....
so.........

figuring out what i should do for KnightinGale...

i had opened the box of my NG 1/144 Guaiz and....

got the thrusters on the backpack cut......will use it on KnightinGale ^^ (i mean the big one, not the small thrusters lol)

but the next thing is something that i shouldnt have done....

thinking on Assault Armor, i tried using Guaiz's leg part and got the knee cut...

FreeZeArt Saviour Part 2 (plus some randomness)

table management, i think?

better say some progress on FZA Saviour then--after the work in recent post, i found that i'm facing a hard time due to the state of my work desk, which is Unmanaged lol

for imagining purpose, there were lots of thing on the desk then. from tools, phone card, cardboard,gunpla that i'm currently working on, trash,plastic gates, etc etc..i assume that no one other than me will gonna work on this desk lol
easy to say, if you dropped a piece of part on the desk, you might spend some time searching for it ^^;;

so, i decided to do some cleaning and manage my stuff at the same time...so, took some boxes and..

there you go! nice and clean! ideal for any work lol! this is how a modeler's desk should be lol ^^
i used such boxes to manage my stuff so that they wont be scattering on the table

so..

first box= tools and markers + precaution item lol
and that box is used temporarily to keep parts of FZA Saviour

next..

keeping polycaps and sandpapers..the white tray is for keeping SB items ^^

enough showing the table..lets go to the real topic...
there are no WIP pictures since i got too focused working on this ^^;;
but there are some things that i will highlight then

current state of FZA Saviur now..this is the pose that i will freeze it into..for the left front skirt armor, i'd used a pin for mounting it to the hip but i accidentally dropped it onto the messy desk and had to scrambled the stuffs to find it but didnt find it orz..so had to make another mounting pin (this cause me to clean the desk lol) BTW i found the pin while cleaning the desk ^^;;

apart from how i mount the skirt armor,the back cannon is another issue.the mounts of the cannon made the cannon to be positioned paralell to each other and looks boring...to give the dynamic look, i scratched some plastic at the mount so that it can be aligned to certain angle when being mounted....and the picture shows the results..much much better and will do the same to the wings also ^^

i also had attached the torso to the hip and make it to look like the waist is twisted a bit (dynamic look lol) at this time the shoulder parts is cemented
also noticed that thats the progress for the paint job...my white spray had been used up and i only managed to use it on the left leg only orz..need to buy another can..so, just only need to complete the paint job and make the base and FZA Saviour will be done!!

and...

i know that some people wanna see this...i had abandoned it for a while due to my laziness lol

YES!the GN Sword X is finished now!!! and the only thing that i had to do is to attach the components of the beam parts together to form the RaiXer Sword ^^;; and i think the next post will be the review for GN Sword X lol
and that is the color for X...black and silver ^^ from the votes lol and the blue is from Gundam Marker (first GM!!) haha

I should haven't read that Ronin Astray WIP......

currently, i am quite lazy to go to the store...well, i just need to buy blue paint and double-sided scotch tape and i can finish that GN Sword X...but...
i am a bit lazy to do so...
can say that old sickness strike back ^^;;

but then,scrolling some tread at Hobbyfanatics, i stumbled on a tread where someone's turning a PG Astray into a Samurai-looking Astray...and yeah i found that it looks cool....
so...

the evening is a bit boring so...

yes, that's it! got some phone card cut and glued and ended up with this...a Katana!

the design is pretty simple but it still the basic sword and i'll shall add more details soon ^^
OO : wtf? i need no katana..just finish my X!!!ONNOORREEE, ZD!!!

and just now, something stumbled upon my mind, which is making a Musha Gundam..hehe, first a knight then a samurai?
oh my...
but then, if i still can't find any DSSD Astray (bootleg,of course!), i might go on making this musha gundam instead...well there are lots of bootleg kits that i think are convertible into this musha type (but for the knight only DSSD Astray that i found is suitable for such conversion ^^)

well then, need to complete X first and then will decide on which go first..whether Project KnightinGale File 1 or Musha XXXXX Scroll 1 ^^

as for the results, there are some customs that i didn't expect to get voted and for my own entry, StrikEagle , yeah, got no vote at all.....this is one thing that make me felt downed a bit...after submitting my entry and more striking entries are submitted by other members, i'd assumed that my entry can't go for the top five but at least it will got some vote......at least i can know that someone like my custom^^;;
but then, maybe due to the limited number of votes that a member could cast......ahh, nevermind...this is just a start

as for the winners,
Storm Heron and Askari came from the same person so it will be replaced by the next entry on the list but there are 3 customs that had the same amount of votes...so the admin of ZP said that a poll for the 5th place will be arranged^^

as for the prizes, top 5 entries will receive $100 but winner with multiple winning entries will only got prize for one entry only and the 1st place will received this , a mini statue made using 3D printer aside from cash prize

GN Sword X!! WIP 4

Executor?

from yesterday putty job, mostly work is on forming the final shape of X...
after spending soooome time sanding....this will be the final form (not climax form)

still retaining the early design though...

something i noticed that i've probably mixed the putty wrong....since it supposed to be white when completely cured but it is not really white....and i'd put the putty not compact enough so there are some tiny air spaces in the putty causing it to become brittle when being sanded...the surface got ruined a bit...

that will be the final work for X's design...
next is the winner for this thing..the RaiXer Sword!!!

the pink sheet is cut into halves and...

is cut into the desired shape....of course it is done under reference of X ^^

repeated the process with the other half...i'd already made the peg for the attachment

however, with only two pieces, it will be a bit weak so i added some strength and effects on the beam blade ^^ noticed that the effects is like a flame so i had to trace it carefully using scribber and cut it with a sharp knife..

and lastly glue them together...but this pink sheet puts the superglue to shame..it DIDN'T STICK WITH SUPERGLUE!!!!! now had to think of something to get the sheets get together...

once done.....(Moe sure wanna see this ^^)

Wa~lla!!! you got it now!! looks like executor though...but it puts Bandai HG Raiser sword to fatal shame XD!! but now OO faces some weight issue..
the elbow joint can afford the weight but the shoulder joint fails to do so...

so then,for display purpose...better without RaiXer sword since OO might slice other kit as well and the weight will cause OO be banned for using stand at the shelf...so if i want the RaiXer Sword...displaying might be like this :-



owh great----- LoL...almost show all of my shelf XD

FYI, the length of X's blade is almost 8 cm while the RaiXer Sword is 29 cm...lol, almost beat RD's Raiser Sword ^^;;

GN Sword X!! WIP 3

Putty job=2nd Round

from last night biohazard.....i came up with some precautions on working with the putty ^^ well, a real banana plant wont bear fruit for the 2nd time!!

best thing to work with something that threatens your life...rubber gloves and face mask!! (anyone guessed that i'll be using the helmet?)

not too much update in this WIP since X is purposely a Sword so not too much add-ons needed on it....so i'll came up on how i work with the phone card ^^

first, trace/sketch/draw the design on the card..

to make cutting process become easier, i scribed guidelines on the drawing with that tool..kinda handy ^^ can be use for making panel-lines, pick up stickers, and hold tiny parts and the parts can be held tightly by tightening the tongs with the screw and nuts ^^

and then, cut it off with a sharp knife^^

there are not too much progresses on X, since the design is almost be finalized..so just only little add-ons ^^

add more plates on the upper and lower parts

and for the main thing anticipated on this weapon, the RaiXer Sword..

got the beam saber hilts from TT hongli Exia TA and cut off the lower part

the upper side of the hilts is glued on each side of the base of the blade..

this is how it look alike..the hilts will serve as slots for the pegs of the RaiXer Sword..the same goes for the shallow slot on the upper side.

and then, putty job again!!
to avoid from wasting the putty like last night, i cut the unmixed putty into some equal parts

pizza anyone? this one smells funny ^^;;
by doing this, i can take some of it, knead it, put on the place i want and get the rest without wasting any putty for no reason at all

done with the putty job on X...now i shall wait until it cures completely and will sand it to its final form...and then, will give it some coat of white paint and will go on making the RaiXer Sword ^^

Smells Funny..

tried out the putty i got...should be more aware when using this.. T_T

how it looks...got a cylinder of resin and hardener...me thinks..

i kneaded it with some water and it got kinda soft..

how it looks after being kneaded...trust me..the smell of this thing is KILLING ME !!!ORZZ!!!

however...i didnt notice that the instuction told that it must be used within 2 minutes after being kneaded....so after i filled the gap in the picture...the rest got kinda hard....got wasted...orz...

tomorrow will see the result...lets see if this putty is worth buying ^^
