It's Time Now

yea, my finals for Australian Matriculation (Read: hell, hell, hell, and hell) will commence tomorrow, 1st of November 2011 and end on 9th November 2011. Got 4 papers to go, English, Maths, Biology and Chemistry. The first and the last run at 11.30 am, while the rest run at 7.00 am. yea. 3 hours for each paper too.

Well, this is it, this is the time for me to make myself to my next level of education. Wish me luck.

RGM-96X Jesta- Concept Plan 2

those aren't Tron glow bands. those are NT-D glow, before the armors segregate and reveal the Psycho Frame. Yes, aside from the custom color, i will also implement NT-D into this beast. and yeap, all will be lighted up. by rough estimation, might need like 6 LEDs. this is going to be fun, stuffing all the wiring and stuff to a 1/144 kit, 6 LEDs somemore. and btw, the psycho frame are to be built using clear pla plates. got that coming right now.

i just marked any places possible for inserting psycho frame but i suppose all be different when i got the kit in hand.

Poseable Figure Izayoi Sakuya (Touhou Project) By Liquidstone. just a heads up, this is the recast version of the actual one, making it to be 3 times cheaper than the actual one. but things and quality are just the same :)

a bit on the character itself, Izayoi Sakuya, usually defined as Perfect and Elegant Maid, is the chief maid of the Scarlet Devil Mansion, who serves the Scarlet Devil, Remilia Scarlet. An ordinary human, with great skills with knife-throwing, and special ability of being capable to entirely stops the time. in my view, an awesome character, and pretty much badass with knives and all the stuff. so yeah. kinda wanna talk more, but will be best to do the research yourself :)

i think the video should be clear enough, pretty much almost accurate with how Bee actually transforms in the movie- arms from below of car, head comes out from front boot, legs from rear boots. and yeah, pretty much Zeta-ish transformation for the upper body and arms :3

in a way, the Mechtech weapon, supposedly you cannot lock them in expanded form for Deluxe class (with exception of Deluxe StarScream) but mine somehow can lock itself well. so yeah.

and, supposedly i post on LS Sakuya first, but somewhat the new blogger layout uses the new editor, in which i less prefer than classic editor. can't find a way to switch back to old editor, so i changed back to old layout. nyaaw

HG Strike Freedom- Sneak Peek

now i am rushing on this, very very rushing

and this is how it looks now. just need to tack the Dragoons on the booster binders (read: Virtue's cannon). GN-X armors are awesome stuff to FA-ize this, and they blend in well. i also removed the mid-torso articulation as the backpack is very heavy, and replace them with brass rod pinning for strength. i'll have proper WIP writeup once im done with this

im now playing resin. and it's a poseable resin figure, something that can par with Figmas. yes, Liquidstone 11th Kadou Shoujo Izayoi Sakuya

another proportion check, to buy me time before i am to work on it for real. mocking it up with a PG frame, i can see that the shoulder joints need adjustments, and the arm may or may not need some more extensions. all left for those minor adjustments, and a bit more armor up- mainly for the arms and legs (THEM BARE LEGS)

backpack, yeah, now i will resort to a new plan, but will still retain the SBed backpack i did a while ago, only gonna redesign it. kit-bash ideas come along, and now i am having thoughts of using Virtue's back cannon as thrusters and Dragoon binders.

with me struggling for my final semester, i only have 2 weeks to do this. this is it, or never.

1/60 RD Force Impulse WIP 8

you wont see any actual gunpla part in this post





lets hope that i don't glue that pegs!
the thing bothering me with Impulse is the joints. i had basically glued all the seams, and being unaware on how to paint the joints. yeah, i thought of doing the painting, masking method, but apparently, the parts scratch and rub with the joint. so, had to do cut cut. and from my memory, i am used to not glue the pegs of joints. ah well, we'll see on it.
