Saturday and SUnday 17-18 July 2010 recap~

yep, i made a post on stuff i went through in that 2 days because there are something worth telling i say XD

ok first and foremost, some suggestions given to me is that to go to Berjaya Times Square....

and i did~

but the journey is something memorizable~

first from Shah Alam sect 6, i took RapidKL T602, heading to another main stop at Sect 2 in which i transitted into U80, in which it brought me to Pasar Seni/Central Market. ok, this is my first time to times square and my only guide is the map from Wikimapia which i barely remembered...so...after leaving C.Market and ended up circling at the same area, i realised that i had lost my track..

so i resorted on asking directions. so what i ACTUALLY had to do is to walk along Puduraya road and get myself to a monorail station..
but as i started walking, i went past a shop and ..........

i noticed this................................and i actually read it during the journey..and gues what?

THAT ISSUE IS F***** UP!

DO NOT BUY HOBIMAX #2 SAVE YOUR RM8 PEOPLE!!!

THEY DID SOME MORE SH1TLOADS OF ERRORS IN THIS ONE COMPARED TO THE FIRST ISSUE!

and they put there an article on Gundam UC...and THEY ACTUALLY SPELT ALL THE IMPORTANT NAMES WRONG

@HOBIMAX DO NOT USE GOOGLE TRANSLATE NOOB!

and even more funny, except from coverage on mid-year competition, they didnt feature any local modelers, except Erix93's Unicorn and HowardKhor's PG OOR..and thats only for posters...

this one didnt even worth any of my and your penny...might gonna write a letter to them...

and thanks to that !@@##%^ magazine, i actually forgot to take the monorail and i saw Times Square when i raised my head...

so as you guys suggested, i went to almost all hobby shops there, and Grafity Toys got nice stuff at nice prices, and apparently a hobby shop BESIDE that Grafity toys hit me more

they got MSGs~ and they sell gunpla at a lower price~~~ like HG Aizu at RM66? or Avalanche Exia Dash at RM73? or HGUC ZZ at RM84?

so i got myself some MSGs from this shop
and a gunpla from Grafity Toys..hehe

i did mentioned that i didnt bring any pieces of ZD-Base...so assembling that Gunpla...i had to resort on a different way
as you see, nail clipper, art knife (they did great justice to me~~~)
and.....sewing needle?Blu-tack?plastic piece from Koto MSG?pencil?eraser?
^i managed to scrib some (a lot actually) panel lines~~~ YEEAAAAHHHHH
and what kit that is?
Yep, Jegan. actually i had build the backpack as well ^^ and i had learned that it is almost impossible for me to install LED to this guy ^^;;
and that wraps up this post..review for Hobimax 2...maybe in September? quite late XD
.

  4. @bd77 Noone sell that book here......(I don't mind spent 8 RM).
the only hobby magazine here just talking about new toys released and review like HOT TOYS,SIC,CHOUGOKIN,revoltech,MIlitary modelling, etc . as for gunpla they just do review and released schedule no tip or tutorial at all.

  8. @Bd well, i did said i might buy it...and i actually did....at least it helped me save some cash for the monorail though...

well, i didnt bring any of my actual tools since i didnt plan to do any build here..well, those basic tools did some nice justice though.still might gonna get a p-cutter and some sandpaper to smoothen up the extra linings (still gonna add more linings XD)

@Aya review for first issue http://zd-base.blogspot.com/2010/05/hobi-max-hobby-magazine-malaysia.html i say it is too horrible

@Evaritus lolwut? it is more expensive there? holly....

@Mangyver for me, swiss knife is like dont feel nice to hold it, especially when scribing new panel lines where i felt better having my hands free.anyway i didnt plan to do any build here at college, but since i got one (due to some boredom) so why not try build and mod it with limited tools? =D
