HG OO Gundam (part 3)

Going Halfway.............

After spending some time cutting parts from the sprues....here is what we get....parts from the ABS sprues is left intact.....just for no reason...

these are the parts that makes up the armors.........and also the GN drive....the GN shield is also there..

parts that are still on the sprues.....i had built some parts such as the feet to see how the colouring goes..

parts that had been panel-lined and coloured.......the paint spills at the most minimum rate...
lucky......!!

HG OO Gundam (part 2)

HANDS EASILY GOT ITCHY.......

While panel lining and colouring the kit.......the instinct got wild and eventually the head got assembled..

side view of the head...the highlighter really works and gives a magnificient effects to the GN condenser

just another front view.....

HG OO Gundam (part 1)

ON CLOUD NINE......

Okay.....tis kit is a kit that i had searched for along time since it was first released....a year ago...luckily,my teacher told me about the recently-opened Parkson(he told me about Transformers not Gundams) and i paid a visit there....at first, i only saw a Trans-Am Raiser kit...and my heart told me to pick up the box......and.....WALLA....HG OO Gundam was at its back(special thanks to my friend Farid and Rizal for their big help)...

The box-art featured OO gundam on its first departure in Episode 2

Inside the box...there were totally 4 sprues: 3 for the kit and 1 for the joints....
colour of the kit was almost evenly distributed....causing less painting is required

close up on the sprues....the GN condenser is painted using highlighter to produce the condenser in active mode..

The same thing also done for the crest on the forehead.....it is coloured using a permanent red marker

preview on the GN Sword II and the beam saber (new design!!).......excluding the GN Sword III,OO will have six swords: 2 GN sword II,2 beam saber (no beam parts!!) and 2 GN shield blade (included in the o raiser kit)

Preview on the 4th generation GN Drive system...the Twin Drive System......

very little blue parts in OO...mainly for the torso, GN Drive and some for the GN swords

Assembly will be done after this....currently focusing on panel lining and colouring the gray parts (cheeks, back GN emitter, the feet)

Now....i can form the gattai between OO and O raiser...(^o^)

Shake!Shake!Shake your head!!

MBEEKK!!(Help me!!!)

What is it actually??
nothing....just a 'lucky' encounter with some funny acts that a goat made...
it is a pity to see actually but at the same time fun until it hurts your stomach!!!

It accidentally tried to feed on something inside that plastic ware and.....
unfortunately its horn got stuck on it.......

absolutely bad,bad situation......
that goat shook and shook its head over and over and over to get rid of that thing....
suddenly it got a nice helmet!!!
poor little goat.....luckilly it got the reputation on being a tame one....so
I can get over for rescue quickly and with ease.......

just some random shot(i'm now getting to get use of the camera i'm using currently)

close-up on the paint to the torso and hip armor

rear view....painting was done for the back armor and the backpack

with articulation mod and paint job....the box-art pose can be done better and more accurate..

fee quite satisfied with the first attempt...
looking forward for next works..:)

Attempt to paint my Virtue...

Just like mentioned before...I will try on an attempt to 'paint' my Virtue

This is the 'paint' that I shall used..

First step...masking is done to the parts that will be sprayed..

some close-up to the 'will be sprayed parts'...

spraying in progress....and it sure looks some sort of worst...

first result...the paint spilled..and the spill paint had corrode and 'eat' the plastic..
huhu....

Modifications on FG Gundam Virtue

Chop,trim and finish!

As mentioned before, I've done some mod job on my FG Virtue...
here it is...the palm is broken off from the arm and did 'some' cleaning..
the polycap is also trimmed so that it will fit there nicely

the result is quite good..the palm now can be swiveled

did the same thing to the another arm..
the right arm, i had used ball-type polycap and the palm can be raised up and down

better pose can be done now!!

Next: an attempt to colour this kit by using aerosol spray...:)
